Call for Papers
Abstracts are invited in all areas of hydro-environment engineering and research, covering rivers and their catchments, lakes, groundwater, ports and coastal waters, maritime and urban water cycle that rely on the use of instrumentation, sensors, data acquisition systems and numerical modelling tools.
One-page abstracts (not more than 400 words) shall be submitted before 15 September 2018 (deadline extended). There is no need to follow a specific template. Communication on abstract acceptance will be sent to the corresponding author by 16 July 2018.
Abstracts should be sent by email to Maria Galanty ()
Authors of accepted abstracts are required to submit a full paper (between 5 and 8 pages) before 15 November 2018. A final decision on paper acceptance and presentation mode (oral or poster) will be made on the basis of the full manuscript. A 1-page abstract with one picture shall be also submitted for inclusion in a printed book of abstracts. The full manuscripts will be included in a USB drive with ISBN, provided to all delegates at the symposium.
Manuscripts and abstracts shall be sent by email to Maria Galanty () in a camera-ready format, following templates available here. Communication on paper acceptance will be sent to the corresponding author by 15 December 2018, and final version of the manuscript will be required on 15 January 2019.
The presenter and the corresponding author don't have to be the same person. One presenter can hold up to two oral presentations.
For your submissions to be included in the congress proceedings, the corresponding author or presenter must be registered and pay the registration fee by the registration deadline.
The proceedings will be submitted for consideration and inclusion in international databases. Some selected papers will be invited for a special issue on experimental methods and instrumentation, that will be published in the IAHR Journal of Applied Engineering and Research. To ensure acceptance as a journal contribution, conference papers shall be significantly expanded compared to the original version.
